<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device and a recording program capable of easily forming a recording medium with high utility value for recording desired image data with desired format. <P>SOLUTION: Image data are read from a digital camera and a medium, and are stored in a server or the like. By using a portable device, such as a portable telephone; directions, such as selection of image data, rotation of image, synthesis of characters or voices, are performed. When a prescribed recording medium is charged. Direction information is read out in a recording device where a stored place of image data selected by the portable device, and a process of the image data, are described, and the image data as an objective image data are specified based on the direction information. If there is the image data as an object, at least the specified image data and the image data processed according to the direction information are recorded in a recording medium.
