PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming apparatus and a forming method which can perform thermoformation continuously and efficiently at high speed, where in the thermoformation process from dieing to die release, a die-formed body is heated at high speed, or undergoes a cooling step while being heated at high speed, and is released from dies after undergoing heat treatment at high temperature equal to or higher than a preheated sheet temperature in a stage preceding the dieing.SOLUTION: A thermoforming apparatus for a resin sheet includes: a function of injecting at least one of cooling gas and heating gas through a gas injection hole arranged at a die forming surface of either of a female die and a male die; the female and male dies comprised of a die (injection die) having a space-formation function for spreading the injected gas to the whole surface of a die-formed body, and another die (holder die) corresponding to the injection die; and means for introducing compressed gas to the injection die. The thermoforming apparatus is configured such that the die-formed body, which is held in the holder die, is heated or cooled by injecting the introduced gas from the die forming surface of the injection die, which is apart from the die-formed body after dieing of the resin sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
