PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved pneumatic tire which can stand high speed and high load, and which can be made lightweight.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire of the invention comprises: two annular bead parts; a carcass; and a belt reinforcement layer. The carcass extends between the two bead parts, through side wall parts and tread parts. The carcass contains at least two axial inside plies extending downward in inside of an axial direction of a bead core from the tread part. The at least two axial inside plies are wound to the bead core respectively to form a turned up part. The respective turned up part is disposed on outside of the axial direction of the bead core. The carcass contains a first axial outside ply extending downward toward the bead core, from the tread part, and disposed on outside of the axial direction of the bead core. The axial outside ply is separated from at least one of the turned up part by a first spacer layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
