Provided are a method of displaying a lock screen, and a user terminal device that displays the lock screen. The method includes operations of displaying, on a display unit, a lock screen including representative information of content recommended by an acquaintance of a user who uses the user terminal device, a first user interface, and a second user interface, when a user input signal is received via the first user interface, displaying, on the display unit, a portion of the content and a third user interface related to purchasing the content, and when a user input signal is received via the second user interface, displaying, on the display unit, an unlock screen including respective shortcut icons of respective applications or a password input screen for receiving an input of a password for entering the unlock screen. |
