PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system capable of swiftly performing processing to improve performance such as troubleshooting and performance tuning through a direct monitoring on hardware different from a conventional unified storage system in which I/O for block storage and I/O for file storage are processed without being distinguished therebetween on a single OS.SOLUTION: The storage system includes: an OS for block storage; and an OS group for managing plural systems including file systems other than the block storage, which are separated from each other. The OS group for managing plural systems including file systems other than the block storage are virtually constituted by means of hypervisor. A micro control of the block storage and processing of the hypervisor operate in combination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
