PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a combination of the directions of a beam quickly.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system 1 includes a plurality of transmission antenna arrays TA1,...,TAM, a plurality of reception antenna arrays RA1,...,RAM, and control units 13, 24. The control units 13, 24 control the direction of a beam formed between a transmission antenna array TA and a reception antenna arrays RA, based on the state of a communication channel that is estimated based a signal transmitted from the transmission antenna array TA to the reception antenna arrays RA.
