PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly display both broadcast program and web content.SOLUTION: A receiver 1 for displaying a broadcast program and a web content, according to a received broadcast signal includes: an area setting section 166 which divides a display area of a display section 12 into at least a first area 121 formed by reducing the display area at a predetermined ratio and a second area 122 which does not overlap the first area 121; a display control section 164 which displays a broadcast program corresponding to a channel selected from among a plurality of channels, in the first area 121, and displays a web content associated with the selected channel or the broadcast program in the second area 122; and a detection section 165 which detects a change request for changing the size of the first area 121 or the second area 122. On detection of the change request, the area setting section 166 changes the size of the other area so as not to overlap the area to be changed in size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
