PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of obtaining an image of high quality by preventing stray light entering from a finder ocular part or unnecessary light entering from an imaging optical system and generated owing to inner surface reflection etc., from being guided to an imaging element.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises a finder optical system which allows a photographer to observe a subject image through a plurality of optical member groups, an imaging element which generates an image signal by photoelectrically converting the subject image and performs focus detection, an optical member (half-mirror) which splits the subject image into luminous flux entering a finder and luminous flux entering the imaging element, and a retaining member which fixes and retains the optical member at an arbitrary angle, and further comprises a light shield member located between the optical member and finder optical system to block luminous flux.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
