PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower capable of improving efficiency by reducing a flow rate at an outlet of an impeller, i.e. by converting kinetic energy of a fluid at the outlet of the impeller into a static pressure irrespective of presence/no presence of a radial vane of a diffuser.SOLUTION: An electric blower 1 comprises: an impeller 5 having a hub 15 and a plurality of vanes 16 protruded from the hub 15; and an electric motor 7 for driving the impeller 5. When a rotational speed is defined as N [min], a flow rate is defined as Q[m/min] and a pump head is defined as H[m], a specific speed Ns of the impeller 5 is Ns (min, m/min, m reference)=rotational speed N×√(flow rate Q)÷lift H=1,200 or less, and an inlet area Ain of the impeller 5 is larger than an outlet area Aout of the impeller 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
