PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method for hot water storage type water heater capable of preventing a clearance from being generated between a vacuum heat insulation material piece and an outer peripheral part of a can body and further capable of closely contacting them to each other.SOLUTION: When a hot water storage type water heater in which radial outer peripheries of vacuum heat insulation material pieces 52a, 52b having substantially circular arc-shaped cross section are covered by cylindrical surfaces 55A, 56A having substantially circular arc-shaped cross section of side foamed heat insulation material pieces 55, 56 is assembled, at first, the side foamed heat insulation material piece 55 is installed in such a way that an axis center K of the cylindrical surface 55A may face substantially in a horizontal direction, thereafter the vacuum heat insulation material piece 52b is mounted on the cylindrical surface 55A and further a can body 2 is mounted on the vacuum heat insulation material piece 52b while the axis center K may face substantially in a horizontal direction. With such an arrangement as above, the vacuum heat insulation material piece 52b can be held between the can body 2 and the side foamed heat insulation material piece 55 from above and below, and pushed down by a self-weight of the can body 2 even if it is recovered to a flat-plate shape and further its shape can be imitated along the cylindrical surface 55A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
