FLUID BEARING DEVICE AND MOTOR EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing device with improved adhesive strength between a member having an adhering/fixing surface and a bracket by appropriately controlling an adhesion gap.

SOLUTION: Materials of the bracket 6 and the housing 7 are chosen so that a value after dividing a coefficient of linear expansion of the housing 7 fixed to the inner periphery of the bracket 6 by a coefficient of linear expansion of the bracket 6 having an attachment part 6b of a stator coil 4 of the motor is 0.5 or more and 2.0 or less. The adhering/fixing surface 7e formed on the outer periphery of the housing 7 is adhered and fixed to an inner peripheral face 6a of the bracket 6 using an anaerobic adhesive or an epoxy-based adhesive.
