摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for suppressing degradation of exhaust gas in a controller for a vehicle driving device having an engine and a second driving power source assisting an output from the engine. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid control means 114 executes a torque assist by using a first motor generator MG1 and/or a second motor generator MG2 so that an EGR rate by an EGR device 64 becomes above an EGR rate threshold (first EGR rate) decided on the basis of a load state of an engine 8. Thereby, the engine 8 is brought into a low load state where, an EGR rate falling as the load state of the engine 8 is increased is above the threshold. In other words, a region becomes wider, wherein the engine 8 is in the low-load state while ensuring the EGR rate above the threshold to suppress the deterioration in the exhaust gas. The control means 114 executes the torque assist, thereby the output required to drive a vehicle is secured even if the engine 8 is brought into the low-load state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
