<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation device for a kitchen capable of being easily maintained and kept clean, preventing diffusion of fume, odor, oil-water mixture mist or the like and being silently operated. <P>SOLUTION: This ventilation device is composed of a nozzle plate 2 mounted at an upper part of a cooking table 10 with a heating means 9 in parallel therewith, and composed of a heat-proof glass plate provided with a round hole at an upper part of the heating means and having a dimension for entirely covering a cooling utensil, a lower exhaust pipe 5 formed into the trumpet shape of which a diameter is gradually enlarged toward a lower end portion 21, and comprising a nozzle ring 3 locked on the round hole at its lower end, an upper exhaust pipe 6 fixed to a building beam 16 at its upper end and comprising a duct connection opening 7, and a filter box 4 mounted between the upper exhaust pipe and the lower exhaust pipe, and provided with a separator 12 inside thereof.
