<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude a sense of incompatibility in conference audio caused by a difference in voice transmission delay characteristics of transmission media even when connecting various communication terminals to the transmission media of voice transmission delay characteristics different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: Setting of delay correction times D<SB>T1</SB>, D<SB>T2</SB>, D<SB>T3</SB>to audio signals transmitted from various communication terminals is accepted and in accordance with the delay correction times D<SB>T1</SB>, D<SB>T2</SB>, D<SB>T3</SB>, delay is added to an audio signal to be transferred by a signal transfer processing section 11.
