The corners (3a', 3b') of an anode collector (3a) and a cathode collector (3b) are covered with a collector protection member (10). The collector protection member (10) is a bag-form member consisting of a resin-made film, and is formed at the front surface (10c) thereof with an insertion hole (10d) for allowing an anode tab (4a) and an anode collector (3a) or a cathode tab (4b) and a cathode collector (3b) to be inserted thereinto. The collector protection member (10) is vacuumized when a battery element (2) is sealed with a laminate film (5, 6), thereby ensuring the tight contact of the collector protection member (10) with the anode collector (3a) and the cathode collector (3b).
