PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated caster excellent in base isolation performance and damping performance, and furniture having the same.SOLUTION: In a base-isolated caster 10 supporting a support object and installed on an installation surface, a dynamic friction coefficient μ when the support object moves on the installation surface satisfies 0.05≤μ≤0.2. Preferably, the dynamic friction coefficient μ of the base-isolated caster 10 satisfies 0.05≤μ≤0.15. The base-isolated caster 10 comprises: wheels 11 having annular wheel bodies in which axle holding holes 11d are formed, and cylindrical slide bearings 20 fitted into the axle holding holes 11d; and an axle 12 which is inserted into the slide bearings 20 and supports the wheel bodies rotatably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
