The facade component is for a building curtain-wall, comprising a fire-resistant and heat-absorbent breast panel and an internal heat exchanger connected to a pipe for a heat transfer medium. This in turn is connected to a heat exchanger on the panel outside in a closed circuit, one exchanger absorbing heat and the other dissipating it. Both heat exchangers(10, 13), together with part at least of the breast panel(2) between them, slew through 180 deg. about an axis through the panel centre or parallel to it. The heat exchangers can be vapourisers and condensers of a coolant circuit, usable either for cooling or as a heat pump.
