<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the preservation and to simplify handling, by providing a specimen holding recessed part having a bottom surface reflecting infrared rays to a base member. CONSTITUTION:A circular specimen holding recessed part 12 is provided to the central part of an aluminum substrate 10 by press molding. A specimen solution 14 is dripped to the recessed part 12 of the substrate 10 and, when the solvent of said solution is removed by evaporation, a specimen layer 14' having a uniform thickness is precipitated on the bottom surface of the recessed part 12. Next, when the specimen layer 14' is irradiated with infrared rays 16, the infrared rays 16 pass through the specimen layer 14' to be reflected from the bottom surface of the recessed part 12 and again transmit through the specimen layer 14' to emit. When the reflected infrared rays are measured by an infrared spectrophotometer, the infrared absorption spectrum based on infrared absorption at the time of transmission is obtained. By this method, preservation is made easy and handling can be simplified.</p> |
