OPTICAL CONNECTOR SWITCHING AND CONNECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain the optical connector unit switching and connecting device which has good workability and practicability by adopting the constitution including a 1st optical connector unit contg. a 1st fiber connecting member, a 1st holding part holding a 2nd fiber juncture and a 2nd optical connector unit having an arm member between the 1st holding part and 2nd holding part. CONSTITUTION:The 1st optical connector unit A includes the 1st fiber connecting member 5 having a pair of guide holes to be inserted with coupling pins and is formed with conductive holes 8 larger than the guide holes. The 2nd optical connector unit M has the 2nd fiber connecting member 1 and the arm member 3. The 2nd fiber connecting member 1 is erected with a pair of coupling pins 1b to be fitted into the guide holes and an induction pin 3e to be fitted into an induction hole is erected on the arm member 3. The 1st holding part 3a for holding the 2nd fiber juncture 1, the 2nd holding part 3b held to this holding part and further a spring 3c mounted between the 1st holding part 3a and the 2nd holding part 3b are provided. The exchange of the optical connector units is facilitated in this way and the smoother coupling is attained.
