PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform regenerative brake efficiently by determining the regulation of regenerating power based on the difference between an actual voltage and rated voltage of a stringing and then delivering a regenerating power pattern signal to the controller for power conversion circuit. SOLUTION: The controller for electric vehicle comprises a filter reactor FL 3 for smoothing DC current ripple from the stringing of electric vehicle, a filter capacitor FC 4 for stabilizing the DC voltage, and an inverter 5 connected in parallel with a DC voltage detector 8 connected in series with the FL 3. A controller 9 for power converting circuit controls a motor 7 to a target level based on a command from a cab or an FC voltage input from the detector 8. The FC voltage is monitored when the element of inverter 5 is not operating by receiving a powering/regenerative signal from the controller 9 and a threshold value is set based on the difference from rated voltage of stringing. The FC voltage during regeneration is compared with a threshold value and a regenerating power control signal is outputted from a regenerative power regulator 10. This arrangement realizes efficient regenerative brake. |
