Efficient Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) for use with internal combustion engines is provided by a system including a fluidic pump (26), such as a Coanda effect pump. The fluidic pump (26) has a primary air inlet (36) receiving pressurized air from a source such as the pressure tank of a truck air brake system which operates at a pressure sufficient to provide high energy air. The pumped fluid inlet is connected to the exhaust gas manifold (14) to receive the exhaust gas for recirculation and the outlet of the fluidic pump (26) is connected to the inlet manifold (12) of the engine (10) downstream of the charge air boosting system. |
