The car personalizer is in the shape of a key and comprises a grip (2) and press button (5) for operation. The personalizer is miniaturized and portable, is used to open or lock the vehicle, and is integrated into the door, ignition, or a card. It serves to place seats, rearview mirror or steering wheel in the ideal position as defined by the dimensions, body size etc. of the user. A switch or security markings can also be set to the ideal or again automatic transmission gearing, vehicle suspension or automatic door opening. The personalizer is colored or shaped as allocated to the user. It can also be used to unlock a range of selected vehicles or types and to personalize the dimensions etc. of the user or other occupant and alerts the vehicle on immediate approach of the user. The personalizer forms a transponder receiving vehicle signals and returning driver-linked personal data thus restricting its control facilities to the owner only.
