<p>A dust prevention process for dust-generating powders, which can attain, as compared with the processes of prior art using a dust-preventing material mainly comprising a fibrillable polytetrafluoroethylene resin (PTFE), an enhanced dust preventive effect by the use of the material at the same quantity level, or an equivalent effect by the use thereof at a lowered quantity level. This process is a process of conducting the dust prevention of a dust-generating powder by making the powder captured by fibrils of a fibrillable PTFE, which comprises adding a fibrillable PTFE and water to a substance generating reaction heat through hydration, agitating the obtained mixture to raise the temperature of the mixture by virtue of the reaction heat and to fibrillate the PTFE by virtue of compression-shear action due to the agitation, adding a dust-generating powder to the resulting mixture in at least two portions while the mixture has residual heat, and agitating the resulting mixture.</p> |
