PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a CO2 gas sensor in which a change with the passage of time in a sensor electromotive force is eliminated, which is small and by which the concentration of CO2 gas can be detected with good accuracy. SOLUTION: In a CO2 gas sensor, a detecting electrode material 3 which is composed of a metal carbonate which is in dissociation equilibrium with CO2 gas and a solid reference electrode 2 are provided at an LISICON 1 as an alkali metal ion conductive oxide. In the CO2 gas sensor, the relative density of the LISICON 1 is set at 95% or higher, and the relative density of the metal carbonate is set at 95 % or higher. |
