The drive bogie for a sectional low-floor railway vehicle contains a wheel set with free wheels (12), traction motors (6), brake units (7), brake discs (9) and transmissions (11). It is frameless and consists of a centre bearer (3), suspended on the bottom of the wagon body by means of sag bars (8), whereas the centre bearer (3) is pivoted on the guide pin (14), which is fixed on the wagon body. The extent of movement of the centre bearer (3) in relation to the wagon body is limited by flexible buffers (10) and simultaneously axle housings (2) with free wheels are arranged plumb to the longitudinal axis in the horizontal direction, one from the front and the second from the back of the centre bearing (3). Both wheel sets are also pivoted on the guide pin (14). The wagon body bears on the axle housings (2) by means of spring units and between the centre bearer (3) and the axle housings (2) there are rod guides with flexible casings (4) for guiding the housings (2) in the longitudinal direction, whilst there are crank blocks with flexible supports (5) arranged between the centre bearer (3) and the axle housings (2) for the cross guide of the housings (2). The traction motors (6), brake units (7) and brake discs (9) are fixed at both lateral sides to the centre bearer (3) and on the axle housings (2) there are suspended slipper brakes (15) with skid pads (16) arranged for the transfer of brake power to the braces of the centre bearer (3).<IMAGE> |
