PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil for facilitating assembling work of a terminal without the possibility of its coming-off or damage of the terminal. SOLUTION: In a choke coil, a coil 80 made of a winding 8 turned around a bar-shaped core 7 is provided, and each short tubes 72 for adjusting magnetic resistance is fitted to both core edge part 71. A box-shaped core, made up of a lower box-shaped core 68 and an upper box-shaped core 69, is provided. The box-shaped core is separated with a separation wall 63. Each separated chamber 681 of the box-shaped core has respective opposite core receiving cut part 61 at an opening edge of both sidewall for fitting and positioning the core edge part 71. The separated chamber 682 has a terminal passing slit 64 formed at a bottom edge near the sidewall 60. A terminal 9 with an angular C-shaped cross section is provided. The terminal 9 is provided with of a winding connecting part 91, a rising part 93, and a terminal part 92 for joining these members.
