PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcast recorder whose manufacture cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 40 uses an output tuner 20 to allow an AFT circuit 50a to fine-adjust a tuning frequency used by a video recording tuner 30, allows the video recording tuner 30 to receive a television signal on the basis of the fine-adjusted tuning frequency and allows a tape mechanism 80 to record a video recording signal based on the television signal. Thus, it is not required to provide the AFT circuit 5a respectively to the output tuner 20 and the video recording tuner 30, then the configuration is simplified and the manufacture cost is reduced.
