PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm a state such as the number of photographed frames while a cartridge type image pickup device is mounted on a silver salt camera. SOLUTION: This device 10 is mounted to a silver salt camera in place of a film cartridge for enabling the silver salt camera to be used as an electronic camera. This device 10 is provided with a display device 11 at a prescribed position that displays the status of the camera 10. This prescribed position signifies a position where the device 10 mounted on the silver salt camera can be seen from a film confirmation window provided to a rear cover while the rear cover is closed.
