METHOD FOR COLOURING FLEXIBLE HYDROPHILIC CONTACT LENSES

The invention concerns a method which consists in contacting the contact lens with an aqueous solution containing a solvent for swelling the polymer material forming the lens, and a colouring agent selected among the azoic complex chromium salts and their mixtures and in removing the lens from the solution. The invention is useful for producing brown coloured contact lenses.
