<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving capacity. <P>SOLUTION: Capacity of an anode 22 is composed of a capacity component based on storage and release of lithium, and a capacity component based on on deposition and dissolution of lithium, and expressed by the sum of them. The anode contains carbon material capable of storing and releasing lithium. In case that open circuit voltage at completely charged state of the paired cathode 21 and anode 22 is 4.2 V, the percentage of charging capacity of the cathode 21 to the charging capacity of the carbon material is 110% or less, and in case that open circuit voltage at completely charged state is 4.25 V, the percentage of charging capacity of the cathode 21 to the charging capacity of the carbon material is 115% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
