PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeelable adhesive composition which has good heat resistance, excellent repeeling property, and excellent adhesion stability at a high temperature or when changed with the passage of time (the adhesive force does concretely not increase, when the adhesive is exposed to high temperature, or the initial adhesive force of the adhesive layer does not increase), and concretely to provide a new adhesive composition which does not leave the adhesive (paste) on a substrate tape layer or an adherend, when the adhesive product is peeled, and has the excellent repeeling property. SOLUTION: This adhesive composition is characterized in that it comprises a polymer (A) obtained by polymerizing a monomer component consisting mainly of a (meth)acrylate monomer having a 1 to 25C alkyl group and a polybasic carboxylic compound (B), and the polymer (A) is a thermoplastic addition polymer having a polyvalent mercaptan portion and the first and second polymer portions radially extended from the polyvalent mercaptan portion, and the first polymer portion comprises a high glass transition point type polymer having a glass transition point of >=273 K, and in that the second polymer portion is a low glass transition point type polymer portion having a glass transition point of <273 K.
