PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a computer virus monitoring program for detecting "unknown" computer virus or worm regardless of a pattern file describing features of the virus or worm. SOLUTION: The computer virus monitoring program monitors the corruptness of a file access request from an input/output manager of a computer terminal device to a filing system driver of the computer terminal device and if corruptness of the file access request is detected, the filing system driver is not notified of the corrupt file access request.
