PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus constituted so that an operator can recognize that a sheet being ejected or a sheet just after ejection is hot. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a sheet position detecting means 11 arranged near the upstream side of a sheet ejection tray 5; a control means 12 for deciding that the sheet being ejected or the sheet right after the ejection is in a high temperature state on the basis of the output of the sheet position detecting means 11; and a warning means 13 for giving a warning according to instructions of the control means 12.
