摘要 The invention relates to nonferrous and ferrous metallurgy, in particular to processes for roasting agglomerated charging material during the production of agglomerate for subsequent melting. The methods for agglomerating a charging material under pressure with the presence of descending and ascending currents of gaseous reagent, when the charging material is loaded and the agglomerate is unloaded at the atmospheric pressure, are disclosed. While starting a unit, a charging material fuel is ignited in a first pot by means of an external heat source and partial sintering is carried out in a normal air-passing operation mode. The subsequent sintering and ignition of the charging material fuel is carried continuously in a pot-to-pot manner with passing pressurised air. Methods for enhancing the process and increasing the agglomerate quality are used during sintering. Multipurpose agglomeration units for carrying out the methods in any known sintering modes under pressure are also disclosed. Said invention can be used, for example in the chemical and other industries, where the processes for material roasting and agglomeration in a filtering layer are used.
