COVER BODY OF AIRBAG AND AIRBAG DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause an airbag provided at a door part to be spread out along a side surface part of a car interior.

SOLUTION: The airbag 31 is expanded upward from the door part 1 toward the side of an occupant. A cover body 22 for covering the airbag 33 has a hinge part 86 provided toward the inner side of the car interior of a door part 73, and a support piece part 87 protruding from the outer side of the car interior. A rupture expected part 99 is formed at the support piece part 87. A guide projection part 91 is smoothly formed on the lower surface of the door part 73. The height positions of the rupture expected part 99 and the guide projection part 91 are aligned with the position of an edge piece part 66 protruding on the lower side from the outer side of the car interior of the door part 73. When the airbag 31 is expanded, the door part 73 rotates toward the inner side of the car interior, and the airbag 31 abuts on the guide projection part 91. The airbag 31 spreads out along a window part 15 without interfering with the edge piece part 66.
