<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval system capable of providing a user with information about using a plurality of structural articles (for example, information equipment) in combination (for example, possibility/impossibility of combined use and a connection method). <P>SOLUTION: The information retrieval system has: a means for fetching virtual cases of using a plurality of structural articles in combination; a means for storing information about known cases that a plurality of structural articles can be used in combination; a means for calculating the degree of similarity between the known case and a virtual case to retrieve a known case of the highest degree of similarity; and a means for outputting retrieved information on the known case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
