PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a surface-mounted inductor in which a coil is encapsulated by an encapsulation material including a magnetic powder and a resin, contact resistance to be generated between the coil and an external terminal is eliminated by reducing a thermal stress and a mechanical stress to the coil and the coil is formed symmetric bilaterally.SOLUTION: A pair of tablets are formed by using the encapsulation material including the resin and a filler so as to comprise: a space 4b in which a coil 2 is accommodated, a shaft which protrudes from an inner wall and inserted into a winding axis of the coil 2, a slit for pulling a lead-out end 2b of the coil 2 out on a side face and a protrusion 4g that protrudes outsides from a side face in a direction vertical with the winding axis of the coil 2 in a side face end. The pair of tablets are fitted from both ends of the coil 2 and while using the pair of tablets, in a compact, the coil 2 is formed in such a manner that the winding axis is parallel with a mounting side of the compact and a surface of the lead-out end 2b is exposed on a surface of the mounting side of the compact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
