PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a problem caused from inconsistency between a range in which display images can be seen and a range in which an outside scene can be seen on a display device when a user watches images with the display device put on and watches a scene outside of the display device.SOLUTION: A head-mount type display device 100 has an image display unit 20 which transmits an outside scene to allow a user to view images displayed together with the outside scene. The head-mount type display device 100 also includes a control unit 140 that acquires an image of outside scene which includes an outside scene viewed through the image display unit 20. Based on the acquired image of outside scene, the control unit 140 recognizes an object which can be viewed through the image display unit 20 and displays a piece of information on the object on the image display unit 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
