PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since a part, where the optical axis of a lens unit intersects the upper surface of a glass, is not irradiated with the light emitted from a light guide, variation of illuminance increases.SOLUTION: A contact image sensor module includes a light guide 4 for guiding light to a document, a lens unit 3 forming an erect unmagnified image by condensing the reflection light from a document, and a frame 2 for supporting the light guide 4 and lens unit 3. A groove A for housing the light guide 4, and a pressing portion 201 having a shape projecting from a corner 214 of the sidewall 210, and arranged on the opposite side from the groove A across the light guide 4, so as to extend in the longitudinal direction X, are formed in the frame 2.
