PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device which can detect an abnormality accompanying a small fluctuation of power consumption in a communication unit.SOLUTION: The radio communication device includes: a communication unit which communicates with another radio communication device through a radio network; and a power supply unit which has a capacitor for storing power supplied from a solar cell, to supply the power stored in the capacitor to a communication unit to operate the communication unit. The radio communication device further includes: time count means for time counting a discharge time of the capacitor; and determination means for determining the existence or non-existence of malfunction in the communication unit, on the basis of the discharge time counted by the time count means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
