PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus capable of suppressing dew condensation of an optical lens in the vicinity of the optical lens more accurately as compared with a conventional method by acquiring temperature data concerned with dew condensation suppression of the optical lens in order to highly accurately perform control for suppressing dew condensation generated on the optical lens.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor D11 and a humidity sensor H11 for determining temperature and humidity in a first image reading box 50 are installed in the first image reading box 50. A temperature sensor D12 for determining temperature in the vicinity of the optical lens 12 is installed in the vicinity of the optical lens 12 in order to determine the temperature in the vicinity of the optical lens. Probability of dew condensation is determined by acquiring temperature/humidity data in the first image reading box 50 and temperature data in the vicinity of the optical lens 12 by the temperature sensor D11 and the humidity sensor H11 installed in the first image reading box 50 and the temperature sensor D12 installed in the vicinity of the optical lens 12 to perform optimum dew condensation suppression control with less loss.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
