PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress power consumption.SOLUTION: An MFP1 includes a display unit, a reception unit 50, a display control unit 52, a specification unit 56, and an execution control unit 58. The display unit displays an instruction screen including a list of functions which are included in a main body unit 10 that can execute a plurality of functions. The reception unit 50 receives the selection of an execution target function. The display control unit 52 issues, if the reception unit 50 receives the selection of the function when a hardware resource used for each of the plurality of functions in the main body unit 10 is a power-saving mode, an API for managing the received function. The specification unit 56 specifies a hardware resource for which the power-saving mode is to be released, on the basis of the issued API. The execution control unit 58 controls the main body unit 10 so as to release the power-saving mode of the specified hardware resource.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
