PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately pattern a curved-surface shape by using a plurality of nozzles.SOLUTION: A method for forming patterns by using an ink jet head having a plurality of nozzles to discharge ink to a curved surface comprises the use of an ink jet printing method for comparing the full length of a first curved surface immediately under a plurality of nozzles at a reference position with the full length of a second curved surface immediately under a plurality of nozzles at a position of a curved surface where ink is to be discharged to change amounts of ink discharged out of the plurality of nozzles of the ink jet head in accordance with ratios of full length of the first curved surface and the full length of the second curved surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
