PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a candle capable of stably forming a flame and a method for producing the candle.SOLUTION: There is provided a candle (1) having a wax body (2) made of a crosslinking agent to crosslink an oil and a candle wick (3) to cover the wax body (2). The wax body (2) and the candle wick (3) are formed by integral molding. The candle (1) is produced by inserting the wax body (2) composed of an oil-crosslinking agent into a case (5) in a state covered with the candle wick (3), and pouring an oil into the case (5) to solidify the oil by the action of the crosslinking agent. |
