摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus to simulate decomposition of nuclear facilities and a method thereof, to determine the optimal number of workers and optimal work path with respect to specific decomposition work without performing an actual experiment in the nuclear facilities. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a database to store pieces of information about at least one task forming nuclear facility decomposition work and pieces of information about a virtual space relating to simulation of the decomposition work; a plurality of head mounted displays (HMD) to receive user input relating to the simulation and to output a virtual space image relating to the simulation; and a simulation unit to generate the virtual space, to transmit, to the plurality of HMDs, the virtual space image including a worker object corresponding to each HMD user, and to advance the simulation of the decomposition work according to the input received from each HMD user. When simulations having the different number of users and/or a different sequence of advanced tasks are advanced, the simulation unit compares one or more measurement values measured from each simulation with respect to the number of users and/or the sequences of advanced tasks, and displays a comparison result.
