PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine which does not cause occurrence of quality deterioration in a cloth or a pattern, even when a thickness of the pattern increases according to the progress of embroidery.SOLUTION: A sewing machine 1 provides embroidery by moving a tambour 74 on which a cloth is fixed horizontally along a fixing plane direction of the cloth according to embroidery data 93a for forming an embroidery pattern. A presser foot 8 located above the cloth is changed to the height corresponding to the progress of embroidery by an actuator such as a stepping motor 82 and the like, and a gap between a processing cloth 100 and the presser foot 8 is maintained at a predetermined interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
