PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder material for three-dimensional molding, which shows excellent fluidity during molding, gives a uniform thickness of each layer upon forming powder thin layers, substantially prevents a defective portion having low strength and easily collapsing, and gives a three-dimensional molded object capable of holding its shape.SOLUTION: The powder material for three-dimensional molding comprises coated particles comprising base particles coated with a coating film of an organic material. When the coating films of the coated particles are dissolved in a solvent and applied on a smooth surface, the obtained coating film shows a wet tensile strength of 22 mN/m or more and 28 mN/m or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
