PURPOSE:To obtain a properly flat contact area with less number of processes by providing a chamfering part to a slider in a magnetic head where both side faces of a magnetic head core are bonded with 1st and 2nd sliders. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd sliders 2, 4 made of a nonmagnetic material are bonded respectively to both side faces of the magnetic head core 1. Then a chamfering part 5 composed of a plane is formed to a ridge part formed between a contact face 2a of the 1st slider 2 and an outer side face 2b. Chamfering parts 6, 7 composed of planes are formed to ridge parts formed between a side face of a groove 3 of the 1st slider 2 and the contact face 2a. Moreover, a chamfering part 8 composed of a plane is formed to the ridge part formed between a contact face 4a of the 2nd slider 4 and the outer side face 4b. The chamfering part is provided in this way to obtain a properly flat contact area with less number of processes. |
