PURPOSE:To improve the operability and rapid photographing property of a camera at the time of disabling the focusing of an auto-focusing means by allowing the power focusing of an optical system in accordance with the disablement of focusing. CONSTITUTION:Detecting the disablement of focus detection, a control part PRS inhibits auto-focusing drive corresponding to the defocused value of a photographing optical system LNS and outputs an instruction for allowing power focusing to an intra-lens control circuit LPRS through a signal SO, a buffer circuit LCM and a signal DCI. Even if an auto/manual changing switch SWM is not switched to a manual focusing mode, the control circuit LPRS drives a focusing motor LMTR in accordance with a power focusing switch SWP only by allowing a user to connect the power focusing switch SWP to a terminal MFI or MFO to execute power focusing. |
