Non-positively held item of ear jewellery

The item of ear jewellery is designed in such a way that it can be attached directly to a non-pierced ear lobe without the assistance of a clip. It consists of two parts (1, 2) which are connected to one another in an articulated manner by a hinge pin (3). It can therefore be opened out. In the closed state, a gap (S) remains, which grips the ear lobe in a clamping manner. Arranged in the lower part, opposite the gap, is a spring-snap closure which holds the two halves in the closed position. Protruding into the gap (S) is an adjusting member (25) which allows adaptation to the thickness of the ear lobe. This member also provides better holding on the ear lobe. <IMAGE>
